I travel a lot. Sometimes too much. Thus, I’ve gotten way better at packing. But nowhere near as good as my wife. She rocks. However, I think the fine people at Louis Vuitton have won the prize when it comes to organized packing.

“It ain’t no nobody fresher / I’m in Maison Martin Margiela”
My wife and I watched this awesome documentary today on Bill Cunningham. Hooray for Netflix… lol. The guy basically invented what everyone today called “street-style” photography. Fascinating. More here.
In the late 1800s, Thomas Edison introduced the phonograph, and just like that, life had a soundtrack. Restoration Hardware has made a gramophone that borrows the iconic speaker horn from those early machines to amplify sound with the power of pure physics. Simply set your iPhone in the solid walnut dock, and the metal horn will boost its volume by three to four times, with no need for electricity.

A very well done custom Rolex from Bamford Watch Department. I love the submarine radar color of the face. Very fresh. Check it out here.
These are definitive Fall sneakers. Love them.
Says Mr. Porter: ”The urban high top design is covered with heritage-inspired woollen plaid, deftly demonstrating the label’s ability to merge classic with contemporary.”

I love these. This takes what Nike + Cole Haan have been doing and trumps it completely.
The Prada Spazzolato Wing-Tip Oxford with Micro Sole (also listed as Prada Sport Sole Wingtips, depending on where you look) are fresh.
What sucks is… they had a limited run of these in navy with a yellow sole… but are now sold out. And no one at Prada seems to know anything about them.

Today, StyleCaster and the 92Y are bringing together a host of fabulous speakers and luminaries from the style media space — Joe Zee from Elle, Aliza Licht, BuzzFeed’s Jon Steinberg, to name a few — to offer a full day of conversation around the industry and how digital is changing the game. And I’m deejaying. And speaking. Fun times. Here is a view from my dj booth of Joe Zee giving the keynote address.
I’m deejaying an amazing benefit in a few weeks for Bally and DKMS. They are doing amazing things to help cure various types of blood cancer and I’m honored to be a part of it.
For the event, Bally was kind enough to gift me with some really nice pieces. The quilted black leather and grey shirt (seen above) is my favorite from their Winter collection. Bally’s Creative Directors Michael Herz and Graeme Fidler outdid themselves this season.
